1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6

In 1980, the Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV6 came out with a 60° V6 engine from the Alfa 6, fitted on a shortened Alfetta chassis.

The GTV6 won the European Touring Car Championship from 1982 to 1985, against Audi, BMW, and Jaguar.
